Gemma was always sure of her place in the Glen Kingdom Royal Guard, until a terrible injury damaged her sight, robbing her of her skills as a tracker and sharpshooter. Now Gemma is uncertain what she can offer the royal family. Her fears of her uselessness are confirmed when a foreign princess comes calling, and Gemma is relegated to the most boring of tasks: bodyguard duty.

 

But Gemma’s new assignment is hardly routine. Solena, the visiting princess, is hiding something.
